Was going through some old stuff at my mom’s and came across this old photo circa March 1995. It’s crazy how fast time times flies and what’s more crazy is that the girl in the photo is my wife and mother of 2 kids now. I am still pretty proud though looking at my old ride 90′ Civic Si with fully ported long block, and running Mugen MR-5 Final Versions (6.5″)!!! Car was mad JDM then and still looks mad JDM now. I am glad I grew up with the right mentors in the car biz, I wish I still had my EF I could probably turn more heads now then back in 95!

It’s weird I never wanted to go to the grand canyon, I have been there as a kid with my parents and since then had zero interest. However, now that the roles are reversed a lot of things my parents did for me make more and more sense. So now I finally made the trek on my own will and took my two kids. From Las Vegas a good 2.5 hour trip maybe less but well worth it. Not only did we get to see it snowing but it cleared up enough towards the end that we got to go on the sky walk and crap our pants. Check that bad boy out!

Today is Rai’s official 100th day! However we are celebrating tomorrow, it’s great to see Rai growing and doing well. I feel bad at times that Rai doesn’t get the personal attention he deserves. I never thought it would be so hard to raise two kids/babies at the same time. Nonetheless I hope tomorrows party works out well for him. Afterall I was #2 too.

I been lagging on the blog, sorry, 2 kids, a dozen bosses and trying to do the holiday’s is tough. Anyway dropped my mom off at long beach airport over the weekend and coming back I filled up some gas and saw a couple of sweet Impala’s. I got to get one of these someday, got to do it Ice Cube style “we got a problem here”.

Haven’t blogged in a while so I guess it’s time to catch up. This is from Honda’s display at Sema on the 2nd of this month. I am not really feeling the CR-Z but this one gives me hope. I just don’t know how Honda is going to generate enthusiasts with a hybrid. I miss the good ones days of rocking my EF.

Took the family to the family to the pumpkin patch in industry, pretty cool got to ride in a monster truck. Funny not intention and not a Halloween costume but we sort of dressed him up like a cholo.

Over the weekend the family and i went to go visit Mr. Rizk’s showing out in Santa Monica. Pretty interesting and it’s been quite a while since I last looked at art. We had a good time, Mr. Rizk’s painting are very unique blending old school vintage objects with reality and dimension. I don’t know if that makes sense anyway this was my favorite of his painting the depth and objects look so real. If I had some extra coin I would pick this up.

Though Rai is in his fourth week if life he has managed LAD games and one LAA all three they lost though. Sad we suck this year that’s both teams. At least we got to go on the field.

Probably at my last game for the season with the family. It’s sad I look up at the lineup and half the guys it’s like “who are these guys?”. We went from best in the west for like 8 straight years and now we are second worst, Seattle doesn’t even count. Oh well there is always next year sucks though since both the Angels and Doyers suck this year. Sorry Sho we tried.

Big ups to Jason for inviting me to the “World Class Driving” US Tour and allowing me to hang with the illuminated ones. Had probably one of the best times of my life being able to pimp a Bentley Supersports, Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Superlaggera, Audi R8 and Mercedes McLaren SLR. Out all the cars I would rate the Ferrari best, then Lambo, then R8. But the best bang for the buck is definitely the R8. I had a great time and Jason and I drove the crap out of these cars even over-revving the Lambo too much causing the ride to throw a CEL. We had too much fun, not everyday you can pass cars on PCH in Malibu doing an easy buck fifty in a red Ferrari. At the end of the day what else, we had to get some gas.
