Orlando Hudson.

April 13th, 2009 — 03:51 pm

Seen on third (above) with manram at the plate, hit for the cycle just now. First player in nearly 30 years to do so for the doyers, and 2nd person ever in a dodger uniform. Pretty badass, Orlando who?

Doyers Opening Day!

April 13th, 2009 — 01:03 pm

B-2 Spirit flew over on dodgers opening day, this thing literally looks like a spaceship, from the front it looks like a flying saucer. Just imagine if you were in the middle east with your AK and saw this thing flying towards your mud hut!

Raul Catches HR Ball*

April 7th, 2009 — 10:08 am

Angels win opening day and in the process, no joke, Raul catches Howie Kendrick’s HR ball! The first HR of the season in the stadium and also by an Angel. Pretty damn cool, I have sat at these seats for like 8 years and only got close one time but that was still a few rows off. Raul that lucky bastard, getting a actual HR ball was prettyy damn cool it’s something you always dream of but usually never happens. All in all I think it made all of our days. *He didn’t really catch it off the fly it sort of hit a few hands then Raul wrestled it away from others :)

WBC 2009

March 24th, 2009 — 07:07 pm

Well in the end Japan wins (again). It’s sort of cool having an “all Asian” final but then again it sucks that America is slipping when it comes to these “international” events/competitions. We/America used to own these types of deals from basketball to baseball to track & field. In the end the WBC was a lot of fun, got to watch the games with a bunch of friends and family and this was probably the most exciting out of all the games. It was a great match but it sucks knowing we could have pitched around Ichiro, but I am sure “Korean pride” got in the way of that thought. Though the Korean press is saying the pitcher was instructed to walk but went rogue, none of which I believe since Koreans have mad pride and now are trying to save face in my opinion. Hats off to Japan and I guess Ichiro. That guys is the “man” only because he talks his smack but he backs it up, can’t hate him for that. As for Sho this was the second professional game he attended and well it’s a win for him regardless! That’s when being a hybrid helps!
