I am about 20 min off but this is roughly exactly 100 days from the date Sho was born. Big deal for us Koreans and really sure if anyone else celebrates this feat, but glad Sho is alive and well, looking for to his 100 years! Happy 100 Baby Sho!

Day 78: TGIF

Today is the first day of the drift season and Sho enters the last quarter of his first 100 days. It’s crazy to believe 78 days ago he didn’t exist. Sometimes I feel like it’s been forever and another side of me is always suprised to see this little man when I wake up or come home from work. Well have a good Easter everyone!

Day 18: I got shit on (again).

Monday was pretty uneventful, but he got me again. It’s come to the point where I get some “sword fight juice” or some mustard on my finger and I just look at it and nod my head. It once used to make me yack or shout out the occassional f-bomb but after you been slapped in the face a few times u start not to care. I think last night was the first time I got to see Sho literally just playing in his little jungle gym it didn’t last long but for 15 min of so he was just quiet gazing at the ceiling independently. It was nice I think Sho is coming online. Usually its either sleep or eat and not much inbetween. Also I am happy to report I got a good eight hours of sleep and had to wake up only twice last night. Anyway about the picture, Sho is funny he looks like one of the Coneheads in Dan Akroids 80′s comedy or if you live in Whittier it’s burrito con sho.

Day 16-17: Travel Day/Hell

Well Ray and I spent most the weekend running errands with Sho. We went to Melrose, the Grove, and Sho even got to meet Matix for the first time. Everything was great on Saturday till we slept. Saturday night/Sunday morning was hell, probably the worse night since his inception. Combined I probably slept like 90 minutes and both Ray and I were in crappy moods. Sho I think just got too much sleep, chilling in the stroller and the car seat at hours at a time during the day. All of which lead him to be in no mood to sleep come night time. No food, no rocking, no singing, no holding would make the monster sleep. I yet again felt like ripping my ears and eyes out, it just wouldn’t stop, the noise! Though Sunday started super shitty, it ended nicely I got my 4th iPhone (under warranty, but now have a 3g), My dad got to see Sho, and we had a nice dinner with my mom. Sunday night was not bad at all. High 5!

Day 14-15: 100 Days.

The 100 days of Sho via my blog are slipping a bit and I am falling behind. Well new items to report, Sho has taken a strong liking to water especially when submerged. I guess it’s good training so by summertime he can be ready for the pool. Also if you look at the picture below, it’s funny Sho always rips his mittens off (loves to scratch his face), so we started using socks instead of mittens so it’s harder to get off. Sho still loves to poo, and go in the water but he loves tearing his face apart. 100 Days of Sho, 85 remaining.

Day 12-13: Sho goes mobile.

Nothing really new to report, it’s sort of sad because I have to go to work and by the time I get back and eat I have little time with Sho. I hope that my life isn’t so consumed where I start missing his growth, time is so precious. Well Sho went out yesterday for the first time non-related to a doctor visit, he loves riding in the car especially the more bouncy the better. It’s probably his funnest thing to do besides crapping.

Day 11: Making weight.

So Sho returned to the pedatrician today to check weight (again) and he finally made it! No more feeding every two hours, maybe every 3 now but the doc said we don’t have to be as regimented as we have been now that his weight is good. Again smooth sailing so far, Sho loves riding in the car, the more bouncy the better and he loves showers.

Day 10: Chicken Dinner.

Today we stayed home since Sho is only ten days old. So the great Superbowl Sunday was a festivity for just the three of us. Sho has been acting pretty good, the last few nights have been great for myself, and “ok” for Ray. I guess it’s really not fair being the mom because of all the 2-3 hour feedings. Also since Sho is not meeting his weight we have him on a 2 hour regiment, meaning Ray only sleeps 75 minutes at a time and feeds him inbetween. Well aside from that Sho only cries to eat, he doesn’t care if it’s loud, bright, or even when his diaper is full. Today was a good day for the family and even better since Arizona covered the spread, winner winner chicken dinner. Through ten days I got to say though it’s been good/bad/great they are the best days of my life.

Day 8-9: One Shot One Kill.

Day 7: 1 Week Old

Well last night was the best night ever in the past 7 days of his life. Being that I got about an hour of sleep the night before, I actually got 9 hours of sleep! I basically told Ray “I am sorry but don’t wake me up” but truth to the matter is Sho was real good no tantrums nothing, no outbursts, no freak crying. I guess the docs advice and wisdom paid off. Being a father again is fun.

Day 7: Yo quiero dormir.

In English, I want to sleep. Last night by far was the worse of all seven days Sho has been alive. I felt anger, regret, thoughts of suicide, sadness, more anger and more suicide. Nothing, absolutely nothing could make Sho sleep last night and stop from crying. He was never quiet for more than 30 minutes or so and I probably got about an hour total in sleep. What do you do when a baby is going buckwild and you can’t ask the guy “what’s wrong?”. To make matters worse yesterday happened to be raul’s birthday so we went out drinking, nothing worse than burning-out to sounds of a baby screaming as if his eyes are being eaten out. It never ended, luckily we had a date with the pediatrician so we got some answers. Turns out most likely something Ray ate made Sho not so much, so we got the breast pump and backup milk in the fridge now so it doesn’t happen again. Ok I am too tired I am out. I pray Sho is happy today and my burrito con sho stays warm.

Day 6: Sho is laughing at me.

Last night was tougher than last night, for some reason Sho couldn’t sleep the normal eat, or “clean my poop” didn’t do the trick. I don’t know why, but he just couldn’t sleep so there was a stretch of time he was awake from like 3-5am. I can’t say for certain because the last few nights have made me feel like I am taking crazy pills. Half the time I am awake I don’t know I am, by the time I really wake up for work I dont even know if I changed him once or twice etc. In the end I gave up last night and had to let Ray handle it, but when I woke up this morning I actually felt good, lucky that I am not a 8-5 salaryman otherwise I probably would have been fires for being late too many times. In the end I don’t feel like Sho is wearing me out, I am still more than happy to see him when I wake up, devil or no devil. Only concellation I get is I get to get this guy back by blowing my bad breathe back at him. Who has the last laugh now little man?
