We finally finished installing the Gokubuto kit on Bolo’s ruckus today. Looks pretty sick and rides well too, I don’t even think the 8″ fatty effected the speed too much either. This has been a long time coming for Bolo but his dream finally came through, all it took was some cash, a lil elbow grease and some ghetto fab. Big ups to Gary at Design Craft for fabbing up the header for us.

Bowls finally answered Bolo’s dream and delivered the long awaited gokubuto kit! We picked this up Saturday after some long riding atound pasadena and finally got around to installing this kit last night. Aside from some minor hiccups, pretty damn easy to install. Bolo’s ruckus is pretty much complete now, just moving to cosmetics like paint etc. The circle is now complete 8″ fatty tire in the back and. 59cc engine.

Big bore NPS59 now installed and running! Dropped this into Steve’s Ruckus since his engine was pretty jacked, running pretty damn good and impressed on how much more power you get from 10 more cc. 20% increase in displacement is nice, rightnow I am getting lunch at my favorite carne asasa place while breaking the motor in, then back on the computer. My damn brother accidentally disconnected the Internet at the office, no Internet no posible trabajo.

The big bore install is almost complete, I got everything back onto the frame, all wired up a few more minor details. Just got to hook up the cooling and then I am ready to give the NPS59 it’s first breathe of air. Couldn’t finish tonight I can’t keep my eyes openanymore.

Almost done being stripped and removed from the frame and swing arm a few more hours.

Finally decided to finish building the big bore motor. Almost complete just need to install the stator, center stand and swing arm then back into the frame. This motor will be going into Steve’s ruckus to hopefully fix all the speed issues he has been having, hopefully I can get this installed and running by his birthday on Wednesday. It’s 3am was planning on only working till 1am, another 4 hours into projectBOLO.

Ok well this is the side by side comparison between the new kit and the old, bumping from 50cc to 70cc. Sucks because last night I gave up late at night, after installing the big bore, couldnt get the damn thing to start…
