This Saturday cruised with Aaron to Irwindale to check out the Pro Am Drift Championship event put out by Formula D. We actually were a sponsor of the event. Not a huge turnout BUT it was a pretty good event, we got to see a good amount of crashes and a gnarly rim that had the face broken off and only the lip and tire remained.

Being a OG Honda guy I have been disappointed since Honda hasn’t really come out with anything dope recently. The s2000 is tight but it’s 10 years old, NSX is dope but 18 years old, the rss was dope but discontinued. Other than the new civic and fit Honda osbjuat whatever. But this new green car is probably the coolest looking of them all, not bad at all coming out in spring of 2009.

This is dope the lambo booth usually is reserved for potential buyers and big wigs. However bolo just don’t give a f. He saw a chance and just snuck into their display and acted like he owned the place, it’s dope he just walked up to it and sat inside the murcielago, f-en classic! The first person I ever met who sat in one, not a gallardo but a murcielago!!!!

Was over at the la auto show today, a annual event I always do with my brother. Was hoping to check out new rides and maybe a new ride for the wife as we await the newborn. Suprisingly of wasn’t too busy as usual I guess the economy really doesn’t have people thinking about new rides. There was nothing really new this year, was happy to see some “potential rides” for the wife and well the gtr. But other than that nothing special. This smart car was pretty dope though guess smart car and brabus got together to make this brabus edition smart car, pretty tight actually.

If you are into drifting, you got to watch this video… This guy won D1GP this past year and well its no wonder why, just watch a minute or so into the video where they show him drift the first turn from outside the car… Sickest drift I have ever seen, he is probably more than 90 degrees perpendicular to the track… BONZAI!

Well this shot comes from this weekend at long beach. This is a co-op we did with eddie (hankook tire/dynamic Autosports) in sponsoring the rear hatch of his trailer. When I see stuff like this an moves we have made during 2008 with drift, time attack, and just general stuff like this it makes me proud to know we have taken BC to another level and still have much room to grow as well. It’s amazing how a simple idea can become reality and then next thing you know your see this hauler drive by and boom! U see the giant tree. Word. I was at long beach for the event Friday and Saturday but opted out of Sunday. Heard the redbull championship was pretty live. The last two weeks have been a tornado with sema, super lap battle and finally redbull drift. I think this pretty much sums up our season this year.

It’s amazing how much crap we went through (Gary and jeff) went through to get this car to even run. It went from not going to run at all to finishing with a 146.8 to take 1st in rwd class and 2nd overall unlimited. The first place car was factory backed cusco japan which doesn’t really count. A shitty beginning ends well.
