This kid is dope, so active and so fun, I hope Sho is fun like him. This is Sei, Ryo’s son (Ray’s brother) I wish I had more pics of him but they are all blurry like this one because he is always “oscar mic” (one the move) but it’s great just watching him walk around or push objects or just open doors. It just really trips me out to watch little kids just walk around because they look like toys or “teddy” in A.I. (don’t know if that makes sense). But I could literally watch kids all day especially those that are family. Anyway speaking of Ryo I heard two funny quotes this week from my friend Brian, he referred to Sei’s father as “the JDM dad” and later reported that in one of the World Baseball Classic games it was Korea vs JDM. Most of you will not know what the hell I am talking about but for those of you who do it’s just funny/clever. Last note, notice the little man rocking the vintage star wars tee! Is tight esse.

Well it’s been a while but the last two weeks have been a crazy rollercoaster. It started two weeks ago Wednesday when I started bleeding internally (again) and well life is just plain weird sometimes. One day I feel like I am going to die, literally bleeding to death in the ER and three days later I am at the beach with Sho, Ray and the “Bolo Crew” playing with the kids at the beach, eating hot dogs and watching the sunset. Then Monday I am back to work the rush home to see Ray’s brother and his family (Keiko and Sei). In that process my iphone manages to disappear (I still think Sei hid my phone somewhere but Ray thinks I am retarded and it jumped out of my pocket somewhere between walking out of her parents house and into my car). Either way “no harm no foul” shit happens so I had to go buy another iPhone (awesome for me) which brings me to explanation of why I have not been updating the Brog. Anyway the hundred days of Sho is continuing but was delayed because of illness, family matters and then “no iPhone” but all is well now. Time flies, in 2 weeks I feel like I have missed so much, I felt like I didn’t see Ray’s brother and kid much, missed all the World Baseball Classic and everything else. Having a kid is like a whirlwind, but a good one, life is just passing on by it’s really scary since oneday I am going to look in the mirror and I will be a old man and my son will tell me “dad you smell like old people”.

Friday started with Kay’s birthday (see image) and a sushi party courtesy of Ray’s parents. It’s nice having Japanese blood in the extended family, the Uchidas have always been master chefs. It was also nice having Ray’s brother present with his wife Keiko and son Sei who we haven’t seen in over a year. All in all, my mom, brother, wife, son and all the Uchidas and Gabe were present. I think the last time this happened was for my wedding, but it’s sure the best time I have when I feel rich with family something I never felt much growing up. Saturday brought Freddy’s daughter, Kaylyn’s first birthday (dol) with grips of Korean food and friends, and then Sunday ended with Mike Lawry’s, all in all a fat weekend!
