Wife was feeling a little down today and well we didn’t go out much this weekend so we decided to treat ourselves to my favorite, lawrys. Pretty nice was already all decorated with the holiday theme and even had real carolers. I think lawrys would be my last meal before being electrocuted if I was ever sent to death row, knock knock.

Spent most of my weekend and thanksgiving break working on the kids room. I only went out once the entire time, last year I was hung over on thanksgiving day this year I was awake working manual labor style.. A year go I would be drinking Wednesday night through the weekend, this year not so much. Harder to “party” when your partner in crime, my wife, is 7 months pregnant I guess life is really going to change regardless of how hard to try to fight it. I used to think this is going to suck but I am more open to the idea of closing one chapter of my life and opening another. I would love to party indefinitely, though I won’t miss the hangovers, but at the same time I don’t want to be the old guy at the club/cafe or the old guy with friends who are all half my age trying to act young. I want to be normal I guess like myvparents have kids, watch them grow and build a family. Sure along the way there will me times for debauchery just more familia and less fiesta. Anyway back to home improvement the crown molding is 90% complete getting around the vent worked out well, an I must say doing crown is a pain in the ass but not as hard as I would have thought. I initially got scared since my DIY home depot book said it was a “expert” level project but it was ok, just would be impossible to do solo, unlike doing baseboard, and well picking up a nail gun helped out a lot otherwise ray’s arms would be more sore this weekend. I am hoping after next weekend the room will be 100% minus the door and finishing touches. Stay tuned.
