I think today I have officially graduated from soondubu school. I used to think all soondubus were good enough, for example you have the misc. Korean restaurant who serves up the kimchi beef variety then you have kaju tofu (irvine off jeffrey) then the king of soondubu bcd. I have come to the conclusion now that all soondubus are not created equal and the soondubu I just ate with my mom, that I thought rivaled bcd (kaju tofu), wasn’t all that great. I could recognize that some flavors and zestiness was missing. I miss my bcd now and wish I could return what I ate. But I am happy to graduate I feel more Korean now
