So I come home from work last night and my neighbor is jumping around on his driveway (WTF). So I say “sup?” and apparently he is trying to get his dog out of the way of this rattlesnake. So his dog is going apeshit and he is wrestling the dog and jumping over and around the snake. Pretty funny though once the dog got handled he comes outside and says “I got to kill it” because it took a swing at the dog. That’s pretty down I thought, so he gets a shovel whole I give him light and he beheads the rattler. Trippy thing is even ten minutes later the body of the snake contorts and even lunges what should be his head at us. My neighbor keeps slapping this headless snake and that’s the image you see below. Check out the rattler going. God I hate snakes reminds me if bolos. Also learned that if you get bitten by a rattlesnake you can die if you don’t get treated, did not know that. I guess knowing is half the battle, eh roadblock?
